Choosing a computer repair company to service your computer is a process that takes a lot of factors into consideration. Although factors such as cost, location, and reputation are important, the most important factor should be trust, as you are entrusting a company with a device that holds some of your most important data.
We work to extend that trust to our customers by adopting a per-job billing model instead of an hourly billing model. You can be sure that we're not going to charge you labor costs for time that was not spent on your repair. If a repair takes us several hours or several days of work, we will never charge you more than $99 for labor, plus the cost of parts when applicable.
Our Repair Process
When you drop your computer off for a repair at North Massapequa Computers, you can be sure that it will be in good hands. We start with the intake process where one of our technicians will get information from you to make sure we have a perfect understanding of what the issue is. You will get a drop-off receipt which you can use to pick up your device after it is complete, and to check the status of your order on our website.
Before we start the repair, we run a full diagnostic to look for impending hardware failures and confirm the reported issue. Once the issue is confirmed, we will carefully resolve the problem using factory-approved methods. If we determine that any parts need to be purchased in order to complete the repair, we will contact you with an exact price prior to ordering any parts or performing any further work.
After the repair is complete, we will clean your computer's exterior, dust the interior parts, and run a virus scan at no additional cost! We will give you a call to let you know that your device is ready for pickup, and you can pick it up at your convenience.
What if We Can't FIx It?
Although rare, there may be some cases where we are unable to complete a repair order. Typically this will be related to parts no longer being available for purchase or being far too expensive to be feasible.
Regardless of the reason, if we are unable to fix your device, you can come pick it up at any time. If we can't fix it, you don't pay. No diagnostic fees, repair fees, or labor costs. We only charge you if you leave our store with the problem solved.
